“I was venturing into the world of business coaching after building a portfolio of expertise in corporate sales and marketing and had huge overwhelm.

I was working crazy hours for little return because there was always something that needed perfecting. If I wasn’t editing the website I was creating programmes, working on branding and growing my social media. I ended up with no time to make sales and I didn’t know where to start.

I had lots of great contacts, but I also had huge overheads!

My business excited me no end and I spent all my time working on it. I was really very proud of what I had created.

DUH.

But…

Unless I could get out of my rut, and start making some proper money, I was terrified I would have to walk away from the business that I loved.

I always stumbled across these ‘6 figure selling’ coaches and business support mentors on Facebook and they were so full of fluff there was no real answers to peoples questions! I needed someone that would be get straight to the point and actually help me.

And then I found Nadia.

Nadia listened to my worries and then give me a massive kick up the butt.

I realised quickly that I’d been so caught in my rut, that I’d lost all sense of clarity.

Nadia helped me to take a step back and see what I was actually actively working on. It was almost laughable!

If you’re fussing over all the little stuff constantly, and not doing sales generating activities how will you ever make any money?!

Nadia is so down to earth and real, when she talks to you its like talking to a friend you’ve known for years- that really helps when your having a meltdown, hahaaa!

I knew I needed Nadia’s support but the biggest decision for me what whether I was going to invest in myself.

About 3 and a half weeks into working with Nadia I signed a $15,000 deal and I purely put that down to Nadia not letting me lose focus on my end goal.

I was super excited and Nadia was genuinely happy for me. It just shows that she really cares about her clients and thrives of our success.

It’s like the same feeling you get when you buy a whole new wardrobe, and everything is shiny, new and exciting. It was an amazing feeling!

In the 6 months prior to working with Nadia I earned roughly $15,000 from marketing brands.

And in the 6 months since I started working with Nadia I’ve earned more than 6 times that!

My plans for the future?

My goal now is to go big!”

Jade and the Entreprenerds

Jade Moon, is an education consultant and the founder of  entrepreNERD HQ.

“When I first met Nadia I was stuck, frightened to ask for help and also frightened to fail. I had a big vision but was taking little action, largely due to my circumstances. I was crippled by anxiety, procrastination and indecision.

My biggest block is my mindset. I am by nature a positive person who believes I can pretty much achieve anything. In my career, I have had awesome achievements but somehow, because my business is for me, that makes it so much harder to take the first step!

Working with Nadia has kept me going, and helped inch me closer and closer to my goal.

Nadia’s style is very unique. Her humour and down to earth approach is stellar.

It’s an honour to be part of her community where all the ladies cheer each other on.

I have joined big expensive and well known programmes before…but I didn’t find great value.

I think Nadia offers more value in her little finger than most of the ‘famous’ big ticket coaches!

Her Profit Pack program is super personal. She really gets to know her clients, keeps them motivated, doesn’t give them advice that means overstretching themselves financially, emotionally or physically.

Nadia has a wonderful disarming charm that it’s so engaging. She never pretends to be superwoman – she keeps it real.

I think she attracts a wonderful bunch of women who are just like her…clever, funny and full of creativity.

I started seeing results when I started taking action. I am now fully booked for consultancy and seeking investment for my edtech business.

I left my job last Easter, I had a small pot of money and it was quickly disappearing. But, with Nadia’s help, but by the end of the year things had totally changed.

At Christmas, I totally spoilt my son and myself with gifts…it could have been so different. I was totes emotional because I was just so incredibly grateful and 2017 was going to be so much better!!

I have Nadia to thank for sticking with me and never giving up on me. I am naturally impatient, I am used to leading big teams and now it is just me. So the biggest lesson I have learnt was one that I read in an entrepreneurship blog which said, don’t compare yourself to others who have being doing this for a lot longer than you…they are in their time zone and you are in yours. It reminds me to be kind to myself.

I have so much to look forward to in 2017, like setting up my podcast/YouTube show, getting to the final stages of Creative England investment round and launch an edtech product, and running business boot camps for urban teenagers. I am fully booked…in fact, turning consultancy work away!”

Caroline M Wood from foodie fraud to Facebook ads genius!

Caroline is a Facebook ad consultant. She started out as a food blogger but soon realised that her skills didn’t not lie in recipe development or food photography but rather in working out the tech and social media side of blogging.

After a brief detour setting up a business to provide business advice to food businesses she is finally growing a successful business helping others with their Facebook ads and list building.

“I was completely floundering and had basically stopped doing anything because I felt completely overwhelmed. I had no idea how to get things working.

I was just about ready to give up but couldn’t quite give up the dream of running my own business and having more creativity and freedom in my life.

But, I was spending money and had nothing except a bit of advertising money from my food blog coming in. It was really just something I spent time and money on for no return.

At first my plan was to provide business training to food businesses through courses and one on one advice. The only problem was that no one wanted what I was offering!

Even though I had years of experience working in catering and have great financial management skills, I felt like a fraud.

I think part of the problem was that I hadn’t actually set up a food business myself. As a result, I wasn’t being visible or taking action to actually find clients!

I had worked with another business coach and while we had gotten foundations in place from a strategy side of things, I hadn’t gotten over my mindset issues nor had I worked out if  was offering something people actually wanted from me.

I had also taken a blogging course but it didn’t really fit in with the type of services I wanted to offer. Plus it had all been a bit self directed and because no one was holding me accountable to finishing I just lost the plot half way through the course.

Because I had had a business coach help me set up the foundations I thought the problem was that I was just not doing the work. I thought that the problem was me not holding myself accountable rather than needing a business coach to help me get back on track.

I first heard about Nadia when Kimra Luna mentioned her business coaching skills, in her group, The Freedom Hackers. I started following Nadia’s podcasts and watching what else she was doing.

Things were difficult. I knew things weren’t working with my business. Plus, I had just left a super toxic work environment and while I had found another job, I didn’t want to have to be in the position of working in such a toxic environment ever again. I wanted to make sure I had more control over my life.

That’s when I decided to work with Nadia.

It took about 6 months for me to make the change. It would have happened quicker but it took me a while to let go of the food business consultancy and actually start working on a business that was more aligned to my skill set and what people were looking for!

I was worried I wouldn’t be good enough. But then people started to hire me and they started to see results and that was just an amazing feeling. I still haven’t completely conquered my concerns about not being good enough but am no longer letting them stop me.

When Nadia gave me permission to stop doing the food consultancy business and look at something else, the relief I felt was immense.

Permission may sound a bit weird but I wasn’t allowing myself to quit on something that was not working. I needed someone else to say it was ok to do that.

I still think the food consultancy business met a need but I didn’t have the right connections to make it work. Also, it met a need rather than a want and that is always tough to get people to buy!

Now my business is growing steadily. I am building up savings and a steady stream of business so that I can go full time in my business.

I am still working out my packages and services but my doing this while still working means there is less financial risk when I make mistakes, than if I was working in my business full time.

I am starting to get a regular stream of clients. While it is not enough income yet to leave my job, I finally feel like that dream can be a reality. I can see the potential in my business.

But the biggest achievement is starting to take action again on building my dream. I have gone from unstuck to moving forward and that is a fabulous feeling.

There are two specific results I have had since working with Nadia.

On the numbers side I am actually making a profit! But, perhaps more importantly I have had clients who have seen results and provided great feedback on the support I have provided them.

I have also got a new website up and I have hired someone to help me get my brand sorted but it the feedback that has felt like the real achievement.

Nadia is very supportive and encouraging but she isn’t afraid to give me a kick up the bum when needed!

It has just been great to know that I have someone on my side providing great sensible advice and cheering me on.

There is value in doing things on a shoe string but sometimes you need to get help.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help and to spend money on your business. I am not saying you should go overboard and my all the latest and greats tools, programs and courses but don’t be afraid to spend some well targeted money to get the help you need.

Joining the Profit Pack has been great in terms of meeting other female entrepreneurs. It has been lovely to meet other entrepreneurs in a smaller group. I often feel the larger groups are overwhelming for me – particularly as an introvert but these groups have been big enough to get great advice and support without feeling a bit lost. This has been particularly important for me as none of my family and friends own small businesses.

My plans for the future?

I want to get to a point where my business supports me and I can work on it full time. I might add some additional services but for now I want to focus on developing my Facebook ads skills further and getting great results for my clients. I am keen to get a course up and running for those who are just looking at starting with Facebook ads – a reasonably priced intro course. There is quite a bit out there already but the courses tend to be fairly in-depth and a bit overwhelming for those just dipping their toes in to the Facebook ad world.

Hiring a coach has been the best thing for my business. The benefit of having a second set of eyes on your business is amazing. While you can get advice in Facebook groups or by googling it just doesn’t equate to the advice of someone who knows you and your business and what you want to achieve.”

Kathy Webster, dog portrait artist and illustrator

Discover how Kathy Webster, dog portrait artist and illustrator at Dotty Dog Art finally started charging her worth.

“I love dogs and I love painting dogs, that’s what I do. When I first met Nadia, my business was a very busy business. I literally worked every hour. I spent many hours replying to numerous enquiries and painting many lovely dog portraits.

But for all the hours that I put into my business I wasn’t earning very much money (at all!)

I had thought that I needed to be busy and that people somehow deserved my time and skills for free as I felt so flattered that they had even asked me to paint a portrait for them!

I thought it was going well as I was busy and always swamped with enquires and orders. But, financially, things were not good. In fact, they were poor, very poor.

I love my business and I’ve always loved it and feel very lucky to be able to run my own business around my family commitments. BUT because I was working so many hours on my business my work/life balance was getting hit hard.

I almost felt embarrassed to charge people as I was clearly doing something that I loved doing, so how could I charge people for me painting their dog for them, when I loved painting so much?

Another issue I struggled with was, time management.

I’m a one-man-band and felt the pressure to be good at everything.

My biggest time draining exercise was replying to every enquiry with a personal reply, discussing processes and prices with each and every enquiry took up a big part of my day and a lot of these enquires didn’t always result in a commission.

I’d taken part in Nadia’s free challenge. I had no reservations in admitting that I needed help to grow my business, but as I wasn’t earning very much money I was worried that I couldn’t afford it.

I’d never run a business before and I really want my business to work, so I decided to take the leap.

As soon as I started working with Nadia, I made some big changes!

Nadia helped me to see that I had a huge fear of pricing and charging my worth.

One of first change I made was to double my prices (!) …. and then publishing these prices for everyone to see on my website.

At first, my constant flow of enquiries dwindled and I worried, and worried some more that my prices were far too high. I had a massive confidence crisis!

However, my commissions didn’t decrease.

I now know that in reality this reduction in enquiries was due to people being able to access the answers themselves. I was also able to filter out the time wasters.

As a result of this simple change I’m able to spend more time actually painting, my favourite part of my work, as I had freed up time by not spending hours replying to enquires. It’s so much better.

By not valuing my skills and treating my business like a hobby, because I loved what I was doing so much, I actually stopped myself from earning money. I priced my products low as I felt flattered that people liked my art and then spent many hours working on peoples commissioned bespoke artwork for very little money.

I feel 100 times happier at where my business is now and I feel positive about the ways to take it to the next level.

I still have a long way to go to earn the amount of money that I would like but feel that this is achievable.

I’ve got a sense of confidence about my work that I certainly didn’t have before I worked with Nadia.

Once I increased my prices and then secured the first few commissions at the new prices was the greatest feeling, it still is!

I always have a little wobble when I’m asked about pricing, but by having my prices on my website I have somewhere to direct people to without having to talk numbers!

I love working with Nadia and the other Profiteroles. It is so re-assuring to know that if I have a wobble I can post a question in the Profit Pack Facebook group and I always get awesome support and feedback. Nadia’s advice is always spot-on and makes so much sense.

Working on my own can be daunting sometimes especially as I have no experience of running a business. Knowing that I only have to ask my question is a huge comfort-blanket for me.

It also helps knowing that other entrepreneurs have the occasional bad day too, if I thought everyone was winning on a daily basis I’d feel like a proper failure! We are only human and by sharing our ups and downs helps enormously.

I have made lots of new friends, some of which I have been lucky enough to work with too. I think we have such an eclectic group of skilled people in the Profit Pack that there is always someone to answer questions.

I’ve learned a huge lesson about the importance of charging my worth and treating my business as a business so I can provide for my family. If I spend all day (and night) painting for other people and not charging enough I’m not only not making any money I’m also missing special time with my lush family!

My advice for other budding entrepreneurs is to always be yourself, be true to yourself and your beliefs and do what you love.

Pushing myself out of my comfort zone terrifies me, but I know I can do it with Nadia’s awesome support!

Being part of a community of amazing female entrepreneurs is such a confidence booster. Seeing everyone’s awesome wins helps me stay focussed on making my business grow.

My plans for the future?

I’m creating a line of greetings cards that feature my watercolour dog portraits along side quirky quotes. I’m going to be brave and put on my big girls pants and get out there… I’m going to make contact with people and potential stockists and get Dotty Dog Art out to a much wider audience!”

Meet, Jessica Dornieden, of Jessica Dornieden VA Services!

Discover how Jessica closed one business, launched a new one and ditched her job all in a matter of months.

“I don’t even know how I came across Nadia, it may have been a Facebook ad… but, I liked the way she spoke about business and the things she stood for. So, I decided, for the first time ever, to actually get some help and take the first step.

I had plenty of experience running someone else’s business, in my day job, but I hadn’t tried anything else out before. I was just spending my evenings hanging out and wasting time on the internet/

When I first joined Nadia’s tribe I was desperate to make some changes in my life! I always knew I wanted to have a business and I had an idea, but I hadn’t even started executing it yet – so really, when I first joined up – I had no business to speak of.

All I had was an an idea, which I was very passionate about, but in working with Nadia we soon realised that it was going to be a huge uphill struggle.

I really wanted to have a business that was going to let me follow my dreams, where people would pay for my services, and it soon became clear that my original idea was not going to do that.

I was new to it all and trying to grow a business that wasn’t going to suit my lifestyle – ever. So I decided to make a change.

The first big change I made, whilst working with Nadia, was to stop wasting time with my current business and shut it down. Eeeek.

Then, a couple of months later, I had the idea for a business that would be based entirely online and built on my strengths. I started my new business working as a VA with an emphasis of tech, in April, and by November it had grown so much that I was able to quit my job!

I feel so happy that I had the confidence to make the change. I would not be singing along to songs while working from home, if I hadn’t!

My biggest mistake was not quitting my job sooner. I could have achieved it much earlier, but I was convinced I needed to have reached the right amount of money.

As soon as I quit, I was able to put myself out there, and things started to happen really quickly. I wish I’d done it sooner.

Nowadays, my business is going really well.

I have reached my monthly income target for the last 3 months and am now working on growing things. I’m still optimising and perfecting our processes, because some of them are not as efficient as they could be, but overall I’m happy with how things are now. I am now making everything more scalable.

Since I started working with Nadia I have increased my income from actually making a loss to a consistent £2500 per month, quitting my job and focussing on my business full-time. I’ve even taken on 2 freelance team members!

Nadia really delivers on what she promises.

She promised me to get me to $5000 per month and I’m nearly there.

I love the regular reality checks and knowing that there is someone there I can bounce my ideas off.

Over the past few months I’ve learned to

  • believe in myself.
  • work hard.
  • not make excuses.
  • not get distracted by shiny things (especially services and courses)!

I just love the group of entrepreneurs I’ve got to know through Nadia. It’s an amazing support network!

My plans for the future…… I’m going to keep growing and see where it takes me!”
